Recalls: Kia NQ5 Sportage

Recalls: Kia NQ5 Sportage
2024 Kia NQ5 Sportage 1.6T-GDI: high-pressure fuel pipe may leak
In July 2025, recall campaign 251062 was issued for 2024 Kia NQ5 Sportage 1.6T-GDI) vehicles. Due to an incorrectly manufactured high-pressure fuel pipe, the fuel system may not be properly sealed and this could result in fuel leaking. A fuel leak increased the risk of a fire, which posed a risk of injury to vehicle occupants and/or other road users, and a risk of property damage. To fix, an authorised Kia dealer was to replace the high-pressure fuel pump, fuel pipe and fuel rail free of charge. For the VINs of the recalled vehicles, please see REC-006373.
