2024 Toyota 250-Series Landcruiser Prado: lower driver’s airbag may not deploy as intended

In March 2025, recall campaign ZFU03 was issued for 2024 Toyota 250-Series Landcruiser Prado vehicles. Due to an error in the fitting instructions for the optional Electric Brake Controller, the lower driver’s airbag assembly (which was removed during accessory fitment) may have been reinstalled using the incorrect torque. As a result, the lower driver’s airbag may not deploy as intended. In the event of a collision, failure to deploy as intended could increase the risk of injury for the driver. For the VINs of the recalled vehicles, please see REC-006302.
