2023-24 Honda RZ ZR-V: Electronic Power Steering system and reduced assistance
In November 2024, recall campaign 6JP was issued for 3-24 Honda RZ ZR-V vehicles. In these vehicles, the worm wheel grease may be displaced over time. If this occurred, the Electronic Power Steering (EPS) system may not operate as intended – this could result in abnormal steering noises and greater effort being required to steer the vehicle. As such, this condition increased the risk of a collision and injury to vehicle occupants and others road users. For the VINs of the recalled vehicles, please see REC-006150.
2023-24 Honda RZ ZR-V e:HEV: high-pressure fuel pump could leak
In November 2024, recall campaign 6YP was issued for 2023-24 Honda RZ ZR-V e:HEV vehicles. Due to a manufacturing defect, the high-pressure fuel pump solenoid valve may develop cracks. This could cause a fuel leak which, in the presence of an external ignition source, could result in a vehicle fire. This posed a risk of injury to vehicle occupants and other road users, and a risk of damage to property. For the VINs of the recalled vehicles, please see REC-006151.
