2019-22 Ford WG Fiesta ST: oil leak from oil separator
In May 2022, recall campaign 22S21 was issued for the 2019-22 Ford WG Fiesta ST vehicles. Due to a manufacturing issue, the right-hand engine oil separator may have been damaged prior to engine assembly. This condition could result in an oil leak and, in the presence of an ignition source, a vehicle fire; this posed a risk of injury to vehicle occupants, other road users and bystanders. If an oil leak occurred, vehicle occupants may identify an oil smoke odour when driving or smoke emanating from under the bonnet. For the VINs of the recalled vehicles, please see REC-005431.
