Recalls: Lexus AW10 LM
Overview
Manufacturers, or importers, issue recalls for defects or faults which have the potential to cause injury. Generally, manufacturers will inform the original buyers if their vehicle is subject to a recall and of the steps required to remedy the defect or fault. Please note that the recalls below (if any) are for Australian-delivered vehicles only. Furthermore, the number of recalls should not be taken as an indication of a model’s reliability or its safety more generally.

2023-25 Lexus AW10 LM350h and LM50h: blank instrument panel
In July 2025, recall campaign 5GG31 was issued for:
- Lexus AW10 LM350h vehicles that were produced from 1/5/2023 to 19/4/2025; and
- Lexus AW10 LM500h vehicles that were produced from 26/10/2023 to 30/1/2025.
These vehicles had a 12.3-inch instrument panel display and, due to a programming error of the combination meter software, a memory device may deteriorate over time. As a result, the instrument panel display may appear blank when the vehicle started and remain in this state. The display would therefore not show visual indicators, vehicle speed, engine status and other critical safety information. This condition could increase the risk of a collision and injury to vehicle occupants and other road users. To fix, a Lexus dealer was to update the programming of the combination meter software. For the VINs of the recalled vehicles, please see REC-006391. Additional information about the recalled vehicles is available from Lexus Pressroom: Combination Meter Software Recall.
