2024-25 Skoda PS Kodiaq: front seat side airbags may fail to deploy correctly

In March 2026, recall campaign 72SG was issued for 2024-25 Skoda PS Kodiaq vehicles. Due to a manufacturing defect, the inner frame edge of the front seats may have been produced with improperly finished surfaces. As a result, the sharp or rough frame edge could damage the side airbags during deployment. In the event of a collision, an airbag not deploying as intended may result in insufficient protection, thereby increasing the risk of injury to vehicle occupants.
