2020–24 SsangYong Y400 Rexton: cooling fan fuse failure and loss of power

In April 2025, recall campaign ISB-2025003 was issued for 2020–2024 SsangYong Y400 Rexton vehicles. Due to a manufacturing defect, the engine cooling fan fuse may fail under certain driving conditions. This could cause the engine to overheat, potentially resulting in a sudden loss of motive power whilst driving – this increased the risk of a collision and injury to vehicle occupants and other road users. To fix, an authorised KGM SsangYong dealer was to replace the cooling fan fuse. For the VINs of the recalled vehicles, please see REC-006327.
