2023 Volvo C40 Recharge: front passenger seat mounting defect
In September 2024, recall campaign R10284 was issued for 2023 Volvo C40 Recharge Single Motor (Full Electric) vehicles. Due to a manufacturing defect, the front passenger seat mounting bolts may not have been tightened according to specifications and could become loose or detach. As a result, the front passenger seat may move inadvertently – if a collision occurred, this could increase the risk of injury to the front passenger.
