2024-25 Volkswagen ID.Buzz: front passenger airbag may not deploy

In June 2025, recall campaign 69UN was issued for 2024-2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz vehicles. Due to a manufacturing issue, the front passenger airbag may have been fitted with a faulty gas generator. The front passenger airbag may therefore not deploy as intended if a collision occurred, and this increased the risk of injury to vehicle occupants. To fix, an authorised Volkswagen dealer was to replace the front passenger airbag. For the VINs of the recalled vehicles, please see REC-006370.
