2020-24 Mercedes-AMG X247 GLB: potential loss of power steering

In April 2024, recall campaign RC5008 was issued for 2020-24 Mercedes-AMG X247 GLB vehicles. In these vehicles, the back-up software for the electrical power steering control unit may not operate as intended. In the event of a failure of the power steering control unit, this condition could result in a loss of power steering control, thereby increasing the risk of a collision and injury to vehicle occupants and other road users. 2024 Mercedes-AMG X247 GLB: tyres may could deflate

In November 2024, recall campaign RC5085 was issued for 2024 Mercedes-AMG X247 GLB vehicles. For these vehicles, the tyres may not meet manufacturing specifications and could deflate. A sudden loss of tyre pressure could result in a loss of vehicle control, thereby increasing the risk of injury for vehicle occupants and other road users.
