Recalls: Mercedes-Benz X247 GLB

Recalls: Mercedes-Benz X247 GLB
2019–20 Mercedes-Benz X247 GLB 250: front wheel arch liners may detach
In July 2021, recall campaign RC2892 was issued for 2019–20 Mercedes-Benz X247 GLB 250 vehicles. In these vehicles, the front wheel arch liners may not have been attached correctly. This could cause the wheel arch liners to detach from the vehicle whilst it was being driven, thereby increasing the risk of a collision and injury for other road users. 2020-24 Mercedes-Benz X247 GLB: potential loss of power steering
In April 2024, recall campaign RC5008 was issued for 2020-24 Mercedes-Benz X247 GLB vehicles. In these vehicles, the back-up software for the electrical power steering control unit may not operate as intended. In the event of a failure of the power steering control unit, this condition could result in a loss of power steering control, thereby increasing the risk of a collision and injury to vehicle occupants and other road users. 2024 Mercedes-Benz X247 GLB: tyres may could deflate
In November 2024, recall campaign RC5085 was issued for 2024 Mercedes-Benz X247 GLB vehicles. For these vehicles, the tyres may not meet manufacturing specifications and could deflate. A sudden loss of tyre pressure could result in a loss of vehicle control, thereby increasing the risk of injury for vehicle occupants and other road users.
